Especially on new cars and in a Southwest Florida town with a median age of 68 with almost no crime... Spotted at work.

I've seen one in the past few months - I think on a PT Cruiser.

Wait, so that's like some mechanism that locks and keeps you from turning the steering wheel? Pretty ingenious.
Also I always wondered what those were.

Don't those have a chip in the key? Meaning they would have to be stolen with a tow truck? The club is usesless in a snatch and grab..

Those have been pointless for decades I thought. My '94 has a locking steering wheel.

I imagine they put them in neutral and roll them away. In the meantime I recommend a security upgrade.
They can't steal what they can't steer.

Especially on a brand new Accord Hybrid with push button start and keyless ignition. No one would be able to do anything once in the car

Modern steering wheels are built with a steel tube core. They simply cut the steering wheel with a hack saw and remove it. As for notion, of hybrid/push button etc. Hondas are notoriously easy to steal, modern crooks know what they are doing. Failing that, they simply tow the shit.
